¡Hola!
My name is Miss Lee and I am so excited to be at Prairie Trail this year teaching the 4th grade bilingual classroom in D108. I just graduated from North Park University in Chicago where I studied Spanish and Elementary Education along with ESL and Bilingual Education. While in college I had the opportunity to be a captain of the Women's Varsity Rowing team. Through that I learned so much about hard work, dedication and being a part of a team. I can't wait for our team to get stronger in room 108. During my second year in college, I was also able to go to Ecuador to study Spanish for 4 months. I had an unforgettable trip there and learned so much!
This summer I traveled to El Salvador to work as a translator for a local non-profit organization. I was challenged by being in a new place, speaking in a different language and trying new things. It was an amazing experience! Ask me about pupusas!
As we march into this year, don't be afraid to be a strong part of our team and try new things. We are going to achieve big goals! #leeherd108
